About our School Management Committee (SMC)

The School Management Committee (SMC) of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Newsa, is constituted in accordance with the applicable guidelines of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, and the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS).

The SMC provides guidance and oversight for the effective administration and overall development of the school. It regularly reviews academic performance, infrastructure, student welfare, safety, health, sanitation, financial management, and co-curricular activities to ensure quality education and a conducive learning environment.

The Committee meets periodically, records its proceedings, and extends continuous support to the school in achieving its educational objectives while ensuring compliance with the applicable norms and regulations.

The School Management Committee is active, functional, and committed to the holistic development of the students and the overall progress of the school.
